Ford Pro adds new tools to speed up fleet maintenance

According to the report, How Maintenance Costs Compare Across 27 Fleet Vehicles, Fleet maintenance costs have risen 41 per cent since 2020, while technician availability is 52 per cent below industry demand. Fleet managers also spend 23 hours a week on routine tasks, slowing repairs and extending downtime.

Ford Pro’s latest software updates aim to reduce that delay by bringing approvals, payments and inspections into one place. Repair orders can now be reviewed and approved directly in Fleet Management Software, with options to auto‑approve smaller amounts or approve an entire order with one click.

U.S. subscribers can pay for Maintenance Shop Network services using credit, debit or Coast Fuel Cards instead of relying only on a line of credit. Inspection forms now link directly to service tasks, updating inventory automatically and capturing complaint, cause and correction details needed for warranty submissions.

A unified Fleet Map combines telematics, vendor locations and shop data in a single view to help managers make routing and maintenance decisions without switching between systems.

These updates are intended to help fleets act on vehicle data more quickly and reduce downtime tied to disconnected workflows.
