Bosch launches ADS 10X Plus diagnostic scan tool

Bosch Diagnostics has launched the ADS 10X Plus, a new vehicle diagnostic scan tool that includes faster scan speeds, expanded vehicle coverage and support for advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) calibrations.

The ADS 10X Plus is built on a new hardware and software platform and provides coverage for more than 98 per cent of domestic, Asian and European vehicles on North American roads, according to the company.

New features include full-system vehicle scans in less than 40 seconds, OEM-licensed diagnostic and repair information, a wireless J2534-compliant vehicle communication interface, and access to the Bosch Wiring Diagram Database, which contains more than 700,000 wiring diagrams.

The tool also supports CAN FD and DoIP vehicle communication protocols and is designed for diagnostics, module programming and ADAS service. Bosch said monthly software updates will add vehicle coverage, special tests, system applications and calibration procedures.

The ADS 10X Plus replaces previous-generation ADS platforms and features an 11-inch display, updated processing hardware and a redesigned user interface. The company said the tool is designed to help technicians diagnose and repair increasingly complex vehicle systems.
