DRiV expands Fel-Pro portfolio with new oil leak repair solutions

DRiV is expanding its Fel-Pro aftermarket product line with new Oil Filter and Cap Sets and Oil Filter Housing Assemblies designed to help technicians address common top-of-engine oil leaks.

The company said the new products are engineered to simplify repairs by providing the required components in a single package, helping technicians complete jobs more efficiently and reduce the risk of repeat leaks caused by worn seals, housings and gaskets.

“Technicians lose real time chasing parts on a leak repair, and customers need confidence that the fix will hold up once the vehicle leaves the shop,” said Joseph Saoud, vice-president and general manager, U.S. and Canada, DRiV. “We built these two lines to take the guesswork out of the repair. Whether a technician is replacing a full housing or just a filter and cap, the goal is the same: the right parts in one box and a dependable, leak-free repair they can trust.”

The Oil Filter and Cap Sets include the filter, cap and pre-installed O-ring, while the Oil Filter Housing Assemblies arrive as pre-assembled drop-in solutions that include the oil filter and cap, oil temperature and pressure sensors and a Fel-Pro intake manifold gasket.

The initial Oil Filter Housing Assembly offering, part number OFHA1001, targets oil filter housing and integrated oil cooler failures on the Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine. DRiV said the component addresses a common repair caused by repeated under-hood heat cycling that can lead to warping and cracking of the original equipment housing.

The company said the new products are part of its Installer’s Advantage program, which includes more than 5,000 DRiV parts designed to address challenging repairs.
