The kids are the big winners from the 2025 High Five for Kids Golf Tournament hosted by the Ontario Aftermarket and the Automotive Aftermarket Retailers of Ontario.
The annual event, held at the Shelburne Golf & Country Club in Shelburne, Ontario, drew a sellout crowd with 128 registrations and raised $15,000 for the High Fives For Kids Foundation, which supports children’s charities and scholarships.
Over the past decade, the High Five For Kids Foundation has raised $539,000, with money going to organizations and scholarships that specifically help children across Canada.
High Fives chair Ray Proulx highlighted organizations such as the Breakfast Club of Canada and the YMCA in Edmonton as direct recipients of the foundation’s funds. But he also called upon the automotive aftermarket community to suggest additional charities in need.
The day featured contests like ‘closest to the pin’ and ‘closest to the keg’ on the course, along with a raffle supported by donated prizes from industry partners. Grace Moreland of AIA Canada, winner of the 50/50 draw, donated her $700 prize back to the foundation.
