The world’s first Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for executives in the aftermarket industry will begin in May 2009 through Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School of Management.
The admissions process is open through mid-April for this highly manageable 30-month program, which features a modern, executive-focused format designed to accommodate the career and personal demands of professionals in virtually any location across the U.S. and around the world. The program also is appropriate for executives working for captive and institutional lenders and suppliers supporting the retail automotive aftermarket trades.
“The Aftermarket Executive MBA Program has been carefully designed to address the real-world career and competitive challenges confronting distributor, manufacturer and in-store professionals,” said Dr. Timothy Nash, vice-president of Graduate and Specialty Programs and dean of the DeVos Graduate School of Management. “Graduates will come away from this invaluable experience with vital new strategic skills as well as a global network of peers that will last a lifetime.”
The new program will utilize an interactive, case-based learning model combining personalized online instruction with five scheduled week-long classroom sessions conducted at Northwood University’s Midland, Mich., campus.
