Mr. Transmission chairman and founder, Bruce Brillinger, dies at age 73

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our Chairman and founder, Bruce Brillinger. Bruce, in his 73rd year, had been fighting a valiant battle with cancer but lost that fight early this morning, at home with his wife, Gayle, by his side.

Bruce Brillinger co-founded Mister Transmission in 1963 and has since grown the brand Nationwide as Canada’s largest transmission specialists. The Mister Transmission business was founded on three basic operating principles; quality workmanship, attractive pricing, and a strong nationwide warranty. These basic principles continue to guide Mister Transmission today. Along with Mister Transmission’s orange and black logo, the famous jingle, “Hey Mister you’re a friend of mine” has made Mister Transmission one of Canada’s most recognized brands.
