Mitchell Says Canadian Glitch WIll Not Be Repaired

Mitchell International has announced that the well-used FirstEstimate product will be discontinued.
While FirstEstimate has been a technology leader for Web-based estimating, Mitchell International advises that changes in the market require them to pursue new solutions to better serve customer needs.
Although the official date to end this service is December 31, the Canadian version has already stopped functioning due to a glitch that cannot be repaired at this time, says Michel Fradet of Mitchell.
Mitchell International has been unable to resolve the current issue with server authentication which is preventing Canadian customers from logging into FirstEstimate in Canada.
At this time, it is unlikely that the issue will be resolved before the product is discontinued.
In the meantime, Michell International says if customers believe that they are owed any outstanding credits for unused estimates, please contact Mitchell via email at tacfe@mitchell.com or 800 238 9111 (ext 6563).
Please include any details regarding your account, including your name, address, account number.
A warning to customers has been placed on the Productivity page of www.ciia.com to advise current Mitchell customers.
