Mario Andretti to Visit Ontario Speedway

Havoline will present racing legend Mario Andretti, who will greet fans and sign autographs Saturday, September 24th from 5:15 pm until 6:00 pm track side at Barrie Speedway, north of Toronto. Andretti, a longtime spokesman of the Havoline brand, will be in town to not only promote Havoline products, but will be on hand at Barrie Speedway for grassroots racing at its best. Mario Andretti is one of the most celebrated drivers in racing history and his name is synonymous with winning. He took the checkered flag 111 times during his career a career that stretched five decades. He was named Driver of the Year in three different decades (the 60s, 70s, 80s), Driver of the Quarter Century (in the 90s) and he was named Driver of the Century by the Associated Press and RACER magazine in January, 2000. A four-time Champ Car national champion, Mario Andretti is the only driver to win the Daytona 500, Indianapolis 500 and Formula One World Championship. Barrie Speedway is located north of Toronto on the 8th Line of Oro-Medonte between Barrie and Orillia just off of Highway 11.
