Suspension manufacturer KYB has launched an online portal called the Training Hub to provide technical and sales training support for parts and service professionals.
The two new modules in the training hub were added to the extensive Knowledge Centre already on the KYB website, in response to requests for content specific to parts and service professionals.
The parts module will focus on technical training, asking the right questions, and better understanding the mechanical components involved in electronic safety systems.
According to KYB, the service module will provide users with technical knowledge about how critical shocks are to vehicle control systems, proper road testing techniques, and communication skills to help improve their shock and strut business as well as their overall performance.
“Training has been an integral part of our business and our culture for a long time, this new platform allows us to deliver the content service providers and part professionals have been asking for in a very quick, and convenient way,” said Aaron Shaffer, KYB’s director of product and marketing. “The KYB Training Hub is a fantastic supplement to the in-person training provide.”
Upon completion of a training track the professional will receive a KYB Strut-Plus shirt.
