Jason Scott named CEO of Federated Auto Parts

Federated Auto Parts has appointed Jason Scott as its next chief executive officer, effective January 1, 2027. Scott will succeed current CEO Sue Godschalk, who is retiring after a 41-year tenure with the organization and will transition into an executive advisory role.

Scott currently serves as executive vice president and chief strategy officer for the Automotive Parts Services Group (APSG), a joint venture between Federated Auto Parts and The Pronto Network.

Bringing 40 years of automotive aftermarket experience to the role, Scott spent 15 years with Genuine Parts Company prior to joining APSG in 2021, holding key positions such as senior director of product management for Altrom and NAPA Auto Parts.

His background also includes management positions at Standard Motor Products’ Four Seasons division and Auto Electric Sales & Service. As CEO, Scott will oversee member support programs, vendor partnerships, and strategic growth across Federated’s distribution network while continuing ongoing collaboration with APSG partners.
