Everyone’s talking about the new Apple Watch… especially car lovers who want to take advantage of new tech for their vehicles.
C-Net has released a cool new video that explains how the Apple Watch may soon be able to do much more than just unlock car doors remotely.
There’s no shortage of stories on the web about the new high-tech watch released by Apple this spring, but C-Net’s five-minute video gives a good overview of what to expect.
It discusses the plans by a number of auto makers to utilize the technology to make driving and vehicle security easier.
Among them: BMW’s new iRemote, the first Apple Watch car app, which controls headlamps, climate control, doors, and can guide you to where you left your car.
In-car and out-of-car functions from companies like Porsche and Hyundai are highlighted, as well as some by non-auto-related companies like Viper software.
Surely the next generation of apps will help direct car owners to repair shops, as much of it is telematics-driven.
Check it out… your customers may soon be asking where your Apple Watch app is!
