The new Power Wave 455/STT combination from The Lincoln Electric Company is an inverter-based system designed for the ultimate in welding performance. Using the company’s Waveform Control Technology and the capabilities of both the Power Wave 455 and STT (Surface Tension Transfer), the machine provides control of the electrode current during the entire welding cycle. The system extends the range of the company’s STT II system for light gauge material into a higher amperage range for thicker materials.
