Battery Conductance Tester for Motorcycles and ATVs

Midtronics has released its first tester designed for testing batteries in motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercraft and other power sports equipment. The PBT-50 battery tester uses a new method of battery characterization to provide accurate assessments.

“The main difficulty with the testing of motorcycle and power sports batteries has been the lack of a consistent battery rating either in CCA’s or Amp hours identified on the battery label,” says Peter Elsenbach, Midtronics product manager. “The PBT-50 tester uses a reference number table to allow an accurate test based on the battery’s part number.”
