Delphi Signs Distribution Agreement wtih Leading Canadian Buying Group

Delphi Product & Service Solutions has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Bestbuy Distributors.
Delphi Product & Service Solutions, part of Delphi Corporation, says that the partnership with the buying group’s 73 shareholders, operating 168 wholesale parts outlets across Canada, will further advance the Delphi’s Canadian automotive product and service distribution strategy.
“We are very pleased with this partnership and intend to see this relationship develop into a competitive advantage for Bestbuy and Delphi,” said Francisco (Frank) A. Ordonez, Delphi Product & Service Solutions president. “The combination of Delphi’s electronics technology and the distribution capabilities of Bestbuy Distributors Limited will provide jobbers across Canada with the highest quality replacement parts and latest service solutions.”
Bestbuy Distributors Limited will begin to distribute Delphi replacement parts and service support January 1, 2003. In addition, the company will begin to market Delphi’s ensemble of service technologies, including the new, patented DS800 wireless handheld vehicle service and diagnostic solution.

In addition, this partnership will offer a competitive edge to our merchant members and better service their needs.”
In the past year, Delphi Product & Service Solutions launched seven new catalogs covering 3,500 SKUs and six of the seven catalogs are mapped to every major e-Catalog provider in North America.
Delphi currently offers full-line coverage in domestic and import applications with a wide variety of replacement parts such as fuel injectors, sensors, electric fuel pumps, modular reservoir assemblies, oxygen sensors, heat exchangers and compressors.
Delphi also recently announced its new Delphi Freedom AGM (automotive absorbent glass mat) battery to add to its stable of flooded lead acid Delphi Freedom batteries for automotive, heavy-duty, marine, motorcycle and lawn and garden applications.
