Dayco Receives Shipping Performance, Manpower Support Awards at Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Winter Meeting

Dayco Products, LLC announced it collected two awards at the 2012 Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. winter meeting held Dec. 2-5 in Aventura, Fla. During the presentation of the Annual Supplier Awards, which are voted on by the shareholders of the Alliance, Dayco was presented with both the 2012 Outstanding Manpower Support Award and the 2012 Outstanding Shipping Performance Award.

The Outstanding Shipping Performance Award was given to Dayco for the company’s 95 per cent or better shipping performance achieved in 2012.

“Dayco is honored to be recognized by the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance,” said Ed Rammel, president of the North American and Australian Aftermarket for Dayco Products. “Being able to exceed our customer’s needs continues to be a priority at Dayco.”

The Outstanding Manpower Support Award was given to Dayco for their best-in-class field support, including technician clinics and store sales calls.

“Having a dedicated sales team on the ground communicating with and training counter people and professional technicians is a win-win for everyone,” said Ken Kee, senior vice-president of North America Sales for Dayco Products. “We look forward to exceeding these goals yet again in 2013.”
