Automotive Service Association (ASA) announced that the Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) will host a special event during NACE/CARS 2014 in Detroit, Michigan. CCIF is an important resource for the Canadian automotive repair market. Co-locating a special summer meeting in conjunction with NACE/CARS 2014 will allow Canadian repair professionals to stay current on important industry issues and trends while viewing the latest technology, services, and training opportunities offered during Industry Week.
The CCIF meeting will feature expert speakers and panel discussions followed by an exclusive cocktail reception. Attendees will be able to connect with other Canadian industry leaders at the first-ever CCIF Special Event at NACE/CARS.
“CCIF represents the heart of the Canadian automotive repair market and to have this group host a special meeting during NACE/CARS for their constituents is very exciting,” stated Dan Risley, ASA executive director. “This decision supports the ongoing plan for international growth of NACE/CARS and fits with the direction of Industry Week, which is bringing the automotive repair industry together for education and networking.”
“We are looking forward to hosting this special meeting during NACE/CARS 2014,” said Leanne Jefferies, CCIF director, Collision Programs, AIA Canada. “Many of our forum attendees and partners plan to attend NACE, and with the new location so close to Canada, this is a logical step for CCIF.”
