Uview Introduces Hybrid Oil Cartridge

UView has introduced the Hybrid Oil Cartridge in response to the increased popularity of Hybrid Vehicles. The air conditioning systems on these vehicles are different and require specific A/C compressor oils and installation procedures. Hybrid systems have internal electrically driven compressors at high voltage rather than belt drive (or a combination of both). Vehicle manufacturers are very nervous of introducing moisture to these systems because Hybrid vehicles have special sensors that shut the vehicle down should they detect a short circuit. As well, there is a risk to technicians who could get an electrical shock should there be too much moisture in the system. UView’s Hybrid Oil Cartridge is made to prevent moisture from being introduced during service. Hybrid systems require special POE Oil that is low in moisture and free of any cross-contamination with other oils.
