The Magic of Niagara was the theme for this year’s OTDA Convention and Trade Show, held January 28th through 30th at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. The loaded program included keynote speaker Bryan J. Dodge, as well as numerous profit-driven seminal speakers. Saturday’s luncheon speaker was John Davidson, whose campaign to raise money for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy was highlighted by a marathon 3300 kilometer journey pushing his son in his wheel chair. John and Jesse have raised over 3.5 million dollars so far, and are familiar to the OTDA membership from past events. The pressing issue of this year’s event was the Scrap Tire Initiative petition which was promoted on the show floor and off by TDAC president and OTDA director Eric Gilbert.
