OTC, a business unit for SPX Corp., has the Ready Scan Readiness Monitor Tool, providing technicians with a cost-effective solution for OBDII readiness testing. The tool connects into the vehicle’s DLC/OBDII connector port and provides an automatic auditory signal and green or red LED visual that indicates whether or not a vehicle’s OBDII readiness monitors have been resent during the drive cycle. The tool is CAN compliant and has updated capabilities. Additionally, its compact size ensures that it safely fits under the dash into the DLC/OBDII connector port, and the built-in speaker produces a tone when the vehicle becomes ready and every five minutes after.
