O.K. Tire Opens New Warehouse

On January 14, 2005, O.K. Tire Stores Inc. held the grand opening ceremony of the firm’s new Mississauga warehouse. Over 100 guests were present, among them Dealers, suppliers, board members, staff and friends of O.K. Tire. Doug Spry, Regional Manager for Ontario was the master of ceremonies and speakers included Ken MacLeod, President & CEO, Jean Trudel Chairman of the Board of Directors of O.K. Tire Stores Inc and Hazel McCallion, Mayor of Mississauga.
“We are committed to meeting the demands of our Dealers and customers with improved service levels. Equally important, we are committed to working with our suppliers to fully support their growth in Ontario,” stated Ken MacLeod.
O.K. Tire Stores Inc. first established a warehouse in 1991 in Ontario. By 1995, it doubled in size to meet growing demand. The new facility has over 100,000 square feet and can support over 50,000 tires thus, making it the largest of the 8 warehouses located in the O.K. Tire distribution network across Canada.
The evening ended with a ribbon cutting ceremony and the awarding of various prizes by suppliers such as Bridgestone /Firestone, Pirelli, Continental Tire, and Myers Tire Supply.
