New Alternator/Starter Options for Dodge Sprinter

Robert Bosch Corporation now offers higher amp new and remanufactured alternators and higher kilowatt starters for the Dodge Sprinter. Three different versions of Sprinter alternators are now available, including the 100 percent new AL0791N at 90 amps, AL0798N at 150 amps and AL0801N, which delivers 120 amps. Customers can now choose whether to upgrade with powerful new or remanufactured Bosch alternators. The 100 percent new and more powerful Sprinter starter (SR0465N) and the remanufactured unit (SRO465X) feature a new permanent magnet design that is lighter weight than the OE unit and is significantly more powerful. The new starters will be rated 2.3 kilowatts or higher and are interchangeable on the vehicle.
