K-Tool International (KTI), a manufacturer of tools for the automotive aftermarket and professional mechanic, is announced a number of additions, updates, promotional prices and packaging enhancements to its TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) product line. Highlights of KTI’s revamped TPMS program include: An extended three-year warranty on the P. S. T. and T. I. P. S. TPM tools; new software for the company’s TPM tools, allowing them to be used on all vehicles through 2008, including the new TRW sensors installed on some 2008 Toyota models; and new software for the programming interface module (PIM) supports the Microsoft Vista operating system, 64-bit processors and proxy servers KTI’s TPMS T-10 torque tool allows technicians to quickly and accurately install replacement Schrader snap-in TPMS sensors.
