IRL IndyCar Series driver Patrick Carpentier spent a few hours meeting the staff and many fans on hand for the occasion at Bullas Automotive, a Tirestarz dealer in Hamilton, Ontario on April 16th. “During a race, I’m always relaying information to our engineers about tires and how the car is handling, so it’s not unusual that I’m talking about some of these same things at a Firestone dealership,” said Carpentier, who competed in his first Indianapolis 500 on May 28th for Red Bull/Cheever racing. Carpentier experienced mechanical trouble, retiring on lap 153 of the 200 classic, finishing 21st.
