ConocoPhillips releases Kendall GT-1 motor

ConocoPhillips Company announced the addition of Kendall GT-1 Full Synthetic SAE 5W-20 Motor Oil to its current Kendall GT-1 passenger car engine oil offerings. The Kendall GT-1 Full Synthetic 5W-20 motor oil meets or exceeds performance requirements of ILSAC GF-4 and API SM and is recommended for use in Ford, GM, Honda, Mazda, Chrysler, Dodge, Toyota and other vehicles where the automaker specifies a SAE 5W-20 engine oil, according to Steve Tarbox, director of product management, ConocoPhillips Lubricants. Kendall GT-1 Full Synthetic 5W-20 offers the following performance benefits: Reaches critical engine parts faster than conventional oils in extreme cold; improved film strength at high temperatures; delivers protection against high-temperature deposits; helps reduce oil consumption; and provides higher protection against viscosity and thermal breakdown at high temperatures for longer “stay-in-grade” protection.
