Three Canadian Volvo technicians have received the company’s VISTA award, representing the top 3/4 of a percent of all registered Volvo technicians in North America. Jason Leber, (Don Docksteader Motors, Vancouver) Anthony Pacheco, (MacMillan & Saunders, Mississauga) and James Lorimer (Carling Motors, Ottawa) were among the 18 North American winners. VISTA winners meet at bi-annual finals in Rockleigh, New Jersey, where they test their skills on eight increasingly difficult challenges over an eight-hour period. Successful completion of the challenges combined with 90 percent or better on written tests, earns technicians a trip to Gothenburg, Sweden on May 20-27 for the VISTA Winners’ Conference. In 2000, 34 countries around the world participated in the VISTA competition.
