Canadian-made Sorbitec absorbents are made of a material completely different from common cellulose, poly, peat and clay products now available in the marketplace. It is totally non-intrusive, completely biodegradable, traps odors and gasses on contact and will not leach in landfill situations. With a flash point of 1300C, absorbed liquids are non-combustible under most conditions. The absorption rate is 10+ times that of clay. Sorbitec’s absorbents are also be available in various sizes of mats, booms and in granular form, offering a range of options for commercial and industrial use.
