AARO sets course for New Year

AARO held its 68th annual business meeting in late November of last year, outlining the organization’s plans for 2007. At the meeting, it was announced that six new faces will be on the board: Mike Adema (Jake’s Auto Service, Georgetown); Gary Bourk (Bourk’s Complete Car Care, Kanata); Tony Doyle (Active Green and Ross, Toronto); Carrie Hall (Meadowvale Auto Repair Specialists, Mississauga); Wendy Norris (Bob’s Automotive, Hamilton); and George Vanderwal (Vanderwal’s Auto Service, Millgrove).

Tony Doyle was elected as Director Representing Associates. Re-elected for new, two-year terms were Walter Copetti (Walter’s Advanced Auto Repair, Oshawa), Randy Skinner (Skinner’s Automotive Services, Beaverton); and Gill Verwey (Verwey Automotive, Burlington).

As reported on the AARO Web site, Rudy Graf (Graf Auto Centre, Toronto) will be AARO’s new president. Wally Clayson will remain an active board member in the capacity of Immediate Past President.
