Award Announced to Assist Needy Students

A special award has been announced to help avid but financially needy students at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in the name of Rick Gibson, chairman of the Northern Alberta Division of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada, who passed away in early December.
The Rick Gibson Memorial has been set up at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in Edmonton where Gibson worked for National Sales Inc.
The award money will be presented each December to the student enrolled in the Automotive Parts Technician Apprenticeship Program who best resembles the traits Rick possessed along with requiring financial assistance.
