AVI acquires assets of Ohio Automotive Technology

The entire catalogue of training materials from Ohio Automotive Technology will be made available through Automotive Video Innovations (AVI) which purchased it this week.

It includes 30 years worth of material developed by Bill Fulton, the director of Ohio Automotive Technology and a long-time AVI trainer.

The acquisition allows AVI to offer all of Ohio Automotive Technology’s content to the aftermarket. Fulton has focusing heavily on engine diagnostic training and is a recognized leader in teaching about advanced lab scope and scan tool diagnostics.

“AVI and Ohio Automotive Technology have a very long and successful relationship.” said Paul Louwers, CEO of AVI. “And by acquiring the extensive training assets of Ohio Automotive Technology, we are now able to offer even more high-level training videos and manuals to master technicians everywhere.”

Based in Ft. Myers, Florida, AVI has been providing advanced automotive repair training since 1994. AVI also produces training, marketing content and media for some of the industry’s leading companies, including Honeywell, Bosch, Delphi and more.
