The Automotive Service Association (ASA) hosted the Association Leadership Summit, in conjunction with Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) 2011 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
The event, fully sponsored by ASA for industry leaders, took place from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and featured an education and networking session on best practices based on The Race for Relevance and presented by Susan Connors Bowman and Ron Pyle, ASA president.
Approximately 25 association representatives were in attendance at the meeting.
“Leaders from associations around the [U.S] learned best practices that will take their associations in a very positive direction and will enable ASA to build on the future of these summits,” stated ASA president Ron Pyle. “ASA is pleased to put together the leadership summit to embolden the leaders of other associations to become integral pieces of the automotive industry.”
