APD hands out first-year student award

Tracey Jennett was named the winner of Automotive Parts Distributors’ (APD) Highest Overall Achiever for the first-year automotive technician program at Saskatoon Polytechnic.

APD said that the award is based on academic achievement, work attitudes, and work habits demonstrated in shop and lab work. The award that Jennett, of Riverside Dodge, in Prince Albert, Sask., won also recognizes the hard work of students in the program.

He was presented the award by Trent Hargrace, general manager of Riverside Dodge, Joe Weinrich director of operations of Riverside Dodge and Bill Oliver, APD’s territory manager.
