The automotive diagnostic and repair software provider will operate under the name Alldata Canada Services Ltd.

The company, an operating unit of AutoZone, says its previous distribution arrangement, through a third-party distributor, made it unable to gauge the market effectively and tap potential customers.

With a Canada-specific business arm it says it will be able to capitalize on growing opportunities and will likely have a huge scope of creating brand awareness across the country, thus driving profitability going forward.
