AASA AND MEMA LAUNCH BRAKE MANUFACTURER’S COUNCIL WEBSITE

The Brake Manufacturer’s Council (BMC) of the Automotive Aftermarker Suppliers Association (AASA) has launched a new website at www.brakecouncil.org, providing members with online resources.

The website became available on March 24, 2010 and features a daily news feed with top news stories about trends and events affecting the motor vehicle parts supplier industry; a BMC membership roster with individual contact information and company web links; and a calendar of all industry events, updated regularly. The site also includes links to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), SAE technical papers, and other important web sites and publications.

"The new BMC Web site has been under development for several months with the direct involvement of the BMC leadership," said Jack Cameron, BMC staff executive and vice president of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). "The new site is a great online resource for members. A BMC Web Site Committee will be appointed to add even more enhancements to the site in the future."

See the Brake Council website for more details.
