AARO Celebrates 70 Years

The Automotive Aftermarket Retailers of Ontario (AARO) celebrated its 70^th annual business meeting at the Anson’s Restaurant in Oakville, Ontario. Despite the jovial air of the occasion, there was also serious business at hand to discuss. Rudy Graf, of Graf Auto Centre in Toronto, was re-elected president for a renewed one-year term, while Ken Buehler, of Buehler Automotive and Transmission of Alma, Ontario, was newly elected director for a two-year term. This was preceded by a sit-down dinner and keynote “state of the industry” address by business management instructor Bob Greenwood.

Before departing Rudy Graf had this to say to the office staff:

“Well done. I’m confident that everyone here today felt their time was well spent, but please use our magazine to remind the members who couldn’t participate that the annual meeting minutes and our year-end financials are nonetheless available to them. I want the membership to know that we believe in transparency, and that these documents will be mailed out to members in good standing upon request.”
