Craig Van Batenburg, the industry’s leading expert on hybrid vehicles, joins the educational lineup at this year’s Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) with a new seminar “Servicing Hybrid Vehicles: The Challenges and Opportunities.”
AAPEX will take place Oct. 31-Nov. 2, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
The seminar is free and will be held Thursday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. in Room 203 of the Sands Expo Center.
Registration is required and can be done on the AAPEX Web site at www.aapexshow.com.
Due to the high-level of interest in hybrids, this class is expected to fill up quickly and seating will be limited.
Van Batenburg will discuss the operation of hybrids, proper service techniques, the tools needed to service these vehicles, high voltage safety and how to troubleshoot hybrids.
Van Batenburg owns Automotive Career Development Center, and has a 2001 and 2004 Toyota Prius, a 2000 Honda Insight and a 2003 Civic Hybrid that he uses for research.
