Snap-on introduces new scanner

Snap-on introduces new scanner

Snap-on released the Apollo Gen 4 scan tool, designed to support professional technicians with advanced diagnostics and intelligent insights. It’s built to handle everything from routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting.

The tool features a wireless scan module that provides a fast, reliable connection throughout the shop. At its core is Fast-Track intelligent diagnostics, a patented Snap-on workflow that filters out unnecessary data and highlights the most relevant information for the repair at hand. It’s powered by a continuously expanding database of billions of repair records and hundreds of billions of diagnostic sessions.

“With more vehicles on the road, ever-advancing complexity and a rising average vehicle age, a technician’s job has never been more challenging,” said Helen Cox, marketing and client services director at Snap-on Diagnostics. “Apollo will be the tool technicians reach for every time a vehicle enters their bay.”

Apollo provides manufacturer-level coverage for codes, live data and functional tests across a wide range of vehicles. A complete vehicle scan enables quick identification of system-wide issues, while consistent navigation, advanced data graphing and quick access to specifications streamline diagnostics. Fast-Track troubleshooting includes top repair guidance, verified fixes, pre-filtered functional tests, and service bulletins to reduce guesswork.

Designed for daily shop use, the scan tool features a 10-inch touchscreen, grip handles, lightweight construction and wireless mobility.
