GripEdge Tools has introduced the 1/4-inch drive standard flex head 7/16 hex low-profile dual action driver ratchet (DFRA6572), a compact solution designed for professionals working in tight and restricted spaces. Intended for automotive, aerospace, industrial maintenance, and fabrication applications, the ratchet combines precision, durability, and ergonomic design to improve access and control in confined work areas.
Measuring 6.5 inches in length, the ratchet has a contoured handle is designed to improve grip and reduce fatigue during extended use. It features a 72-tooth mechanism with a 5-degree swing arc, allowing technicians to engage fasteners in areas where larger tools may not fit. An integrated reversible switch enables quick directional changes without repositioning the tool.
“The DFRA6572 represents everything GripEdge stands for — solving real problems that professionals face every day on the job,” said Jared Kukucka, Director of Sales at Grip Tooling Technologies. “When you’re working in a tight engine bay or a confined aerospace assembly, every millimeter matters. This ratchet was built specifically for those moments.”
A multi-angle flex head pivots from 0 to 180 degrees, providing access to difficult-to-reach fasteners while maintaining ergonomic hand positioning. The ratchet also incorporates a pass-through retention cavity that, when used with GripEdge dual action drivers, creates a low-profile configuration suited to space-restricted assemblies. Serviceable components and available repair kits further support long-term tool life.
