AARO charity golf tournament raises awareness, funds for Bloorview Kids Rehab

AARO garnered over $30,000 at its annual Charity Golf Classic in late July, an event to help both raise awareness and funds for the Bloorview Kids Foundation, Ontario’s children’s rehabilitation facility.

Rakesh Tripathi, development officer of Bloorview accepted a check from AARO’s immediate past president Wally Clayson for $25,000 at the post-game dinner and silent auction held at the Cardinal golf club in Newmarket, Ont. The event was also sponsored by RBC Capital Markets, Trader Corp., The Strupat Foundation, Curtis Insurance Ltd., Lombard Canada and CarQuest.
