OTC releases Automated System Test for Genisys scan tool

OTC, a business unit of SPX Corp., announced AAPEX in Las Vegas the release of Automated System Test, a new productivity feature for the Genisys scan tool. When installed, technicians can select this feature on the main menu and Genisys will automatically perform a complete diagnostic evaluation in half the time it would take the technician to perform the same test manually. Any trouble codes found are reported along with other pertinent scan data. In addition, Repair-Trac pattern failures and available repair information are linked to DTC’s of top known component failures.
