Brian Fleming has accepted the position of Director of Marketing, Affinia Canada Corp. In this expanded role, Fleming will be responsible for marketing activities involving all undercar and underhood customers in the Canadian marketplace.
Said Robert Pitt, Vice-President Customer Relationship Management, Affinia Canada Corp., “Brian brings an extensive industry background and valuable customer knowledge to this newly created position. This announcement is part of a process for an improved infrastructure to provide the best support for the needs of our Canadian customer base.”
The Affinia family of brands currently includes Wix, Kralinator, Raybestos, Aimco, Spicer, McQuay-Norris, Nakata, Urba and Quinton Hazell. Affinia has operations in 17 countries and employs over 13,000 people.
Mr. Lube Canada, has announced the appointment of two new executives. Peter J. Fisher is vice-president of franchise development. Fisher is an expert in franchise law and a former police officer and was an undercover specialist for the country’s largest metropolitan police force. He has held various senior management positions in franchise sales and operations for several retailers in Canada over the last nineteen years. Wayne Vanderhorst is vice-president of real estate development. A Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Vanderhorst has had a fifteen year career in the national retail business in Canada. He is experienced in real estate, leasing as well as finance.
The Canadian-owned franchise operation is plans to open 10 new locations in the next year and more than 66 new stores over five years. Mr. Lube Canada has 88 franchise stores from coast to coast.
