Toronto High School Scores at Performance World

Toronto’s Bishop Marrocco/Thomas Merton Catholic Secondary School’s Transportation Technology class scored a strong runner-up finish at the Performance World Custom Car & Truck Show held March 7th through 9th. The team placed in the Sport Compact Street Machine class at the Toronto show against experienced competition. The class was won by Raymond Chabot for his 1980 Mini. The team’s 1991 Civic started as a “junker” and was transformed into a show winner by a student team led by instructor Randy Brown. Performance Improvements and Paint Circuit provided product support. The Civic carries a modified Acura B18 double overhead cam engine and extensive modifications to body, suspension and interior. SSGM congratulates Randy Brown and the Transportation Technology student team.
