AIA’s Central Ontario Division Golf Tournament held at Guelph, Ontario’s Springfield Golf and Country Club on June 18, was a sell-out with 144 golfers raising over $6,800 for the Association’s Marion Roberts and other scholarships, as well as special projects.
“It was great to see some new faces at the tournament,” said Central Ontario Division Chair Keith Gordon. “There were lots of familiar faces too, but it is great for me to see that we are attracting some new blood to the Association. I was also very pleased to see a number of jobbers in attendance — some of the jobbers made it a networking event by inviting their automotive service provider customers to the gold tournament.”
“Many thanks to the Golf Tournament organizers, Harvey Presement, Larry Raymond, and Sandy Ross, for all of their hard work in ensuring the success of the tournament. The real winners are the young people who will benefit from the scholarship,” added Gordon.
