Karolyn Hayes of Alder Auto Parts Ltd. in British Columbia has won the grand prize from the 2017 Raybestos Delivers Sweepstakes.
Hayes, who is based out of the jobber’s Cloverdale location, takes home $500 for herself in addition to $2,000 and a Chevrolet City Express LT cargo van for her store. She told Jobber News that it was nice to win, even though it took her by surprise.
The contest ran between Oct. 16 and Dec. 15 of last year. To qualify, entrants employed by a jobber, parts store or warehouse distributor had to sell 25 units of various Raybestos brake pads, calipers or rotors.
Family run Alder Auto Parts, a Uni-Select member, has four stores in the lower mainland of the province. It was opened in 1978 by John Feddersen.
“Alder Auto Parts is a strong supporter of Raybestos so we know the van will be put to good use as they deliver Raybestos premium brake products to their customers,” said Kristin Grons, marketing manager, Brake Parts Inc. “We also thank all of our distributor customers that participated in this exciting promotion. It was a great success and we look forward to running similar programs in the future.”
