Uni-Select U.K. subsidiary acquires distributor

The Parts Alliance, which recently became a subsidiary of Uni-Select, has acquired Blackburn Brakes Holding Limited, which is the owner of BBC Superfactors.

The company is a vehicle parts distributor in Lancashire, a county in the U.K.’s northwest, just outside of Liverpool and Manchester. BBC has served the area for more than 30 years, Uni-Select said in an announcement, with seven locations currently in the area.

“This acquisition strengthens our position in the UK market and underlines The Part Alliance’s capability of driving growth both organically and through acquisitions,” Henry Buckley, president and chief executive officer of Uni‐Select, said in a statement.
