Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ iconic Champion Spark Plug brand is ready to crown more vehicle royalty with the return of the popular Champion “King of the Road” contest. The contest again will pay out a total of $10,000 to owners of the hottest rides across North America.

Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation, will award 10 weekly $500 cash prizes and a $5,000 grand prize to winners as judged by members of the “Performance Driven” Champion online community. Consumers can vote weekly for their favorite ride, with each round’s winners receiving $500 and an automatic entry into the $5,000 “King of the Road” grand-prize round.

Consumers can enter the contest by submitting one or more digital photographs and interesting background information about their vehicles through the “King of the Road” link at www.AlwaysaChampion.com. The “King of the Road” contest opened for entries yesterday, and voting begins May 18, 2015.

“From grassroots enthusiasts to some of the world’s best-known professional racers, Champion is all about helping customers maximize the performance of their vehicles,” said Jessica Wynn, global director, digital marketing and strategy, Federal-Mogul Motorparts. “The ‘King of the Road’ contest recognizes and rewards the passion that fuels today’s most exciting vehicles.”

Vehicle owners are encouraged to share their entry with friends and family to earn more votes and move on in the competition. The 10 2014 winners, including grand-prize winner Tim Kowalchick of Jacksonville, Fla., and his 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, also can be found at www.AlwaysAChampion.com.
