Uni-Select Purchases U.S. Distributor

Uni-Select USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Uni-Select Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of The Kunz Oil Co.
Kunz Oil operates a distribution centre and three branch locations for automotive replacement parts in Minneapolis, Minn., and adjoining suburbs. The closing of the transaction is to take place on Nov. 30.
This business development is expected to add annual sales of $10 million U.S. to Uni-Select’s Automotive Group USA.
Following the transaction, the business of Kunz Oil will be operated in conjunction with Uni-Select’s existing business unit headquartered in St. Paul, Minn.
Both Kunz Oil and Uni-Select USA are members of Automotive Distribution Network (ADN), supplying the upper Midwest market under the Parts Plus banner.
