Snap-on has introduced a new online scheduler that allows customers using the Pass Thru Assistant and Pass Thru Assistant+ to book remote programming services more efficiently. Available at PTAprogramming.com, the tool enables automotive repair shops to schedule J2534 programming appointments at times that best fit their workflow, reducing delays and improving productivity.
The scheduler simplifies what can often be a time‑consuming process by allowing technicians to book appointments in just a few clicks, eliminating the need to wait for callbacks. This supports faster turnaround on programming tasks and helps keep vehicles moving through the bay.
The Pass Thru Assistant provides a turn‑key remote solution for updating software and firmware in electronic control units using OEM programming. It allows technicians to program a wide range of domestic, Asian, and European vehicles through a single, consistent process.
