SMP adds more than 500 new part numbers

Standard Motor Products (SMP) announced the release of more than 500 new part numbers in the first quarter of 2026. The company expanded coverage across its vehicle control and temperature control divisions, with the additions supporting a wide range of late‑model import and domestic vehicles.

Recent releases include new applications in SMP’s fuel injection and ABS sensor programs. Multiple GDI and MFI fuel injectors were added for vehicles such as the 2020-2025 Nissan Frontier and 2021-2025 Subaru Crosstrek.

Eighteen ABS speed sensors provide coverage for 3.4 million vehicles, including Ford Super Duty trucks, Hyundai Tucson, Mazda 3 and Cadillac CT5 models.

SMP also introduced 10 new transmission control solenoids covering millions of Ford, General Motors, Jeep, and RAM vehicles, along with new power window switches for more than four million Nissan vehicles.

Additional expansions include battery current and voltage sensors, EGR tubes, park assist cameras and sensors, turbocharger components, and vehicle speed sensors.

Within the Four Seasons offering, 48 new PAC‑Kits A/C service kits were added, covering more than 34 million vehicles. HVAC air door actuators, heater cores, compressors, and blower motor resistors also saw expanded coverage across several high‑volume applications.

“2026 is off to a strong start, with more than 500 new numbers added across our vehicle control and temperature control divisions,” said Jack Ramsey, senior vice‑president of sales and marketing at SMP. “The first quarter saw expansion in some of our most popular categories, adding coverage for millions of vehicles and reinforcing our commitment to first‑to‑market solutions.”
