SPX describes its new OTC StrutTamer Elite as the most effective compressor for virtually any straight, conical, or offset spring. The new Elite version of its StrutTamer product line features four-point locking jaws to securely hold the spring in place. The open-ended design lets the technician easily and quickly put the strut in and take it out. The arms can be adjusted to handle many different sizes of springs from 2-1/2 to 10 in diameter. They can also be adjusted up and down for springs with a 2-1/2 to 24 vertical stroke.
