Hand-held programmer

The new Evolution hand-held programmer for late-model Ford trucks from Edge Products adds power while improving vehicle drivability and durability. It offers three tuning options. Level 1 (Transmission Only) retains factory engine power and reprograms the PCM to provide firmer shifts, helping to increase transmission life. Level 2 (Tow Performance) includes the optimized transmission shifting and also modifies the ignition timing and fuel delivery to improve overall performance. Level 3 (High Performance) aggressively tunes fueling and ignition timing for 91-octane gas to add up to 12 per cent more HP and 15 per cent more torque.
